Here in New Zealand we had a T.V. programme called "Tux Wonder Dogs"
It is loosely based on agility and obedience, but is designed to entertain the viewer more than as a serious competition.
The dogs compete in teams of three, with 32 teams in the competition. There are heats, semi finals, and finals run, all of which are screened as half hour episodes.
Sherry was in a team with two English springers, Drift and Misty.
Drift was our Agility dog, Misty was our Obedience dog and Sherry was the water retrieve and Flygility dog, and we all ran together in the team relay. (photos) Now she had never done Flygility before this, I had to teach her how it was done in about six weeks!
The water retrieve was of a big yellow floating bone, she had to jump out of a rowboat, and get it while I rowed to shore, calling madly for her to "bring it here"
She'd never been in a boat before, never mind been pushed out of one and asked to retrieve a big floaty thing! She did me proud though fetching it like a trouper, and our team made it to third place in the finals!
